Integrated Therapy Services - Developmental Therapy Services (ITS-DTS)

ITS-DTS provides a holistic approach addressing fine and gross motor development, sensory processing disorder, self-regulation, sensory modulation dysfunction, handwriting, speech and language, feeding, augmentative communication, and learning needs in infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children, adolescents and adults.

Overview of Services

Comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services are provided for infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children and their families. Integrated therapy approaches are used to address the child’s motor, sensory processing, self-regulatory, sleeping, feeding, social, communication, and speech and language needs. The therapeutic process begins with gaining insight into the underlying problems affecting the child's skills, behaviors, or emotional responses. Parents and caregivers are then educated about the needs of their child and the recommended treatment goals and approach.

Both short and long-term treatment is available as well as individual and group therapies. For children who need a “jump start," there are intensive programs available. Consultation is provided to day care providers, teachers and other professionals as needed to address and maximize the child's functioning in different settings.

At ITS-DTS we emphasize an integrated collaborative approach among therapists. This approach may include back-to-back OT/Speech treatments, co-treatments, and consultations. In addition to Teri, Jennifer, Anne, and Susan, services are also provided by our highly skilled and trained associates.
